Hybridisation of 3D macro-scale topological surface

Artefacts of interpretation, which are now functional as independent entities, bear some similarity to their initial state. By way of a painted backdrop, its initial location and condition diminish. The (compost) image arises as an extension of a drapery study by virtue of its unique fabrication process, as a result of this novel causal connection.

M2 – FLATNESS VS PROJECTION

This module applies Art Critic Clement Greenberg’s concept of flatness in Abstract Expressionist painting to video-game landscape graphics in order to challenge the methods of spatial representation. The cognitive process of perceiving spatial dimensions on the television screen is employed as a means to create its opposite: a quantifiable and navigable three-dimensional realm.

Design that is human.

Fresh ideas and open minds.

M2 – FLATNESS VS PROJECTION

The cognitive process of perceiving spatial dimensions on the digital screen is employed as a means to create its opposite: a quantifiable and navigable three-dimensional realm.

M3 – SURFACE VS PATTERN

Artefacts of interpretation, which are now functional as independent entities, bear some similarity to their initial state. By way of a painted backdrop, its initial location and condition diminish.

M4 – FRAME VS FIELD

This module explores the reinterpretation of Venetian urbanism and its temporal mythologies by combining dance notation with neo-gothic architectural form.
